Michael Lawrance leads the employee benefit plan audit team at Salmon Sims Thomas Accountants and Consultants.  He is an experienced accounting professional performing audits for public and privately owned entities, 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, health and welfare plans. In his role as team leader, he trains staff for benefit plan audits and serves as a technical resource for engagement teams. Michael currently manages numerous plan audits for plan sponsors engaged in a wide range of industries.

Michael  has provided audit services to a diverse number of industries, including insurance, healthcare, employee benefit plans, technology, wholesale, manufacturing, and real estate. His career includes five years with a Big Four accounting firm and two years at a regional CPA firm. He was graduated from University of North Texas, 2003, with a Master of Science, Accounting. He earned his Bachelor degree from Babson College, 2000.
